Maliesingel Suite is a private rental of the souterrain apartment at Maliesingel 74a in Utrecht. This statement explains how we handle your personal data.

Who we are

What data

Only data you give us yourself: your name, email address, phone number, dates of stay, number of guests and the content of your message. For a booking, also the details needed for the reservation, payment and tourist tax.

What for

  • to answer your question or request;
  • to handle your booking, including payment and your digital key;
  • to meet legal obligations, such as bookkeeping and tourist tax.

We don't send newsletters and we never sell your data.

Legal basis

We process your data because it is necessary for (preparing) your stay, because the law requires it, or because you consent by sending the form. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share data with

Only with service providers we need: our web host and email provider, our booking and calendar system, the payment provider (for iDEAL and credit card) and the supplier of the smart lock. We have agreements with them to protect your data. We also share data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Form messages are emailed to us and not stored on the website. Requests that don't lead to a stay are deleted within one year of the last contact. Data we must keep for tax purposes is kept for seven years.

Cookies

This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies and loads no external fonts. Once the online booking module is live, it may use functional cookies needed for your booking.

Your rights

You may access, correct or delete your data, object to processing and request data portability. Send your request to info@maliesingelsuite.nl; we respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
