The souterrain entrance is at Maliesingel 74, the Neo-Gothic house with the stepped gable. A few steps lead down to your own front door.
About 1.8 km; allow approx. 20–25 minutes on foot, straight through the old city:
Bus 2 (the Museum Line) runs a loop through the centre from Utrecht Centraal (Centrumzijde bus station). Get off at the Centraal Museum stop; from there it is about a 5-minute walk across the Abstederbrug.
If you arrive by local (sprinter) train, Vaartsche Rijn station is an alternative: approx. 800 m, a little over 10 minutes on foot.
Several direct intercity trains an hour run from Schiphol Airport to Utrecht Centraal during the day; the journey takes about 30 minutes. Plan your trip at ns.nl.
By bike it is about 8 minutes to Utrecht Centraal, where you can rent an OV-fiets. A taxi from the station takes a few minutes; use the address Maliesingel 74a.
The apartment has no private parking space. Parking in central Utrecht is expensive; for several days a garage or Park & Ride is usually the better deal.

The Maliesingel at no. 74 is in paid-parking zone A2 (Oudwijk area): €6.94 per hour, Monday to Saturday 9:00–23:00. A day ticket costs €48.64 and is valid on the day of purchase only. Under the current rules, Sunday is free here. Check the signs and meter: across the canal the more expensive centre rate applies (zone A1, €8.01 per hour).
The P+R combi ticket (€8.50) covers one day: parking plus return public transport, only if you come back the same day. If you leave the car for several days you pay the hourly rate up to the daily maximum of approx. €15 per day.
Utrecht has a low-emission zone for older diesel cars. Check whether your car may enter the city centre at utrecht.nl.
